Dental Implants in
Peoria & North Phoenix, AZ
The Gold Standard in Tooth Replacement
Unlike other restorative options, dental implants replace both the root and crown of a missing tooth. Expertly placed by our dentist in Peoria, these titanium posts fuse with the jawbone, providing a stable foundation for crowns, bridges, or dentures.
Types of Dental Implant Solutions
-
Single Tooth Implants Ideal for replacing a single missing tooth without affecting neighboring teeth. A titanium post supports a custom-made crown, blending seamlessly with your natural teeth.
-
Implant-Supported Dentures A hybrid solution, these removable dentures are anchored by implants, offering superior stability compared to traditional dentures.
-
All-on-4 Implants Revolutionizing full-mouth restorations, just four strategically placed implants support an entire arch of teeth, providing a fixed and durable solution.

Are you looking for same day implants?
We have a lot of patients calling and asking about the possibility of having an implant placed the same day. For situations like this, there are several factors to consider:
Do you already have a pre-existing tooth?
Is there infection in the bone?
Has the tooth been removed and a bone graft placed, and you've just been waiting for the time to get an implant?
If a tooth has healthy bone around it but is broken and needs to be removed, we can usually remove the tooth and place the implant the same day. This allows for a quicker turnaround time.
However, if there is infection in the bone, we would need to remove the infection, place a bone graft, and let you heal for about three months. After that, we would bring you back to place the implant, and then you would need to wait another three months before we can put a tooth on it. So, in this case, it's generally a three- to six-month process to complete the implant procedure.
The other option is if the tooth was already removed, a bone graft was placed, and you have gone through the healing process. If your bone is looking good after we take a scan and review everything, then we can place the implant that day.
So, there are three different options in terms of what to expect with a same-day implant here at Ultra Dental.
Dental Implants vs. Bridges:
Dental Implant Procedure
A dental implant involves placing a titanium post into the jawbone where a tooth is missing. The process typically takes 10 to 15 minutes and does not require alteration to the surrounding teeth. Over the course of three to four months, the implant integrates with the bone, providing a stable foundation. Once fully integrated, a crown is placed on top, creating a strong, durable restoration that can withstand normal chewing forces.
Dental Bridge Procedure
A dental bridge, on the other hand, involves preparing the neighboring teeth on both sides of the missing tooth. These teeth are shaved down to accommodate the bridge, and the area is scanned to create a custom-fitted restoration. The primary advantage of a bridge is that it can restore the missing tooth within two weeks, as the bridge is fabricated and placed more quickly than an implant.
In summary, while implants offer a more permanent and natural solution by integrating with the bone, bridges provide a quicker fix but require the modification of surrounding teeth.
